I ran across GeoDale 12 Nov 01 while my wife and I were pillaging 'The Narrows' GeoCache hidden by Flyfisher. We got a kick out of the fact that GeoDale had been to some interesting places and decided to pick him up and see if we could help him on his way.
That evening we came up with the idea to have a 'Take your GeoDale to Work Day'. He came to work with me the next day and these are the pictures highlighting his adventures.
Caution-- the pics are 1024x768 (~280k), which is why I had them thumbnailed.
GeoDale is performing the critical pre-flight procedures
GeoDale enjoys the flight while taking note of his speed and altitude. A quick glance at the accelerometer (Gz Meter) confirms his suspicion that he's gained some weight recently (something like 8 times his normal weight).
GeoDale completes some formation work with his wingman while flying over Southeastern Ohio. He also takes the opportunity to get down low and wave at the local farm folks while approaching the base. And finally he waves goodbye to the fine troops in the life support shop who ensured his flight came off safe and without a hitch.
GeoDale proudly displays his Sabers patch that he earned through his heroic perforance. (Basically he didn't puke in the jet which earns any incentive rider a patch)
